Cons front panel cables ugly grey and cant come off completely no 140m fan mount on back hard to get top left stand off screw in
Summary I built my friend a PC in this case he picked it not me. It was a joy to build in no major troubles. I built a MSI gaming PC in this case the full sized GPU fit no problem and the 750w evga PSU fit also this is a smaller mid tower case but the end result is good if you want to WC 120 mm rad and fans only
Pros -Good size, should fit most parts(besides water cooling) -Presentable design that allows for showing off parts through it's side window -Air flow is good enough for overclocking if used with aftermarket coolers and case fans. - Price is good
Cons -Air flow would be better if the top of the case had venting. -The dust filters are only good for stopping dust bunnies. -Acrylic side panel will be more prone to scratches and scuffs compared to a glass alternative -Front Usb and audio ports are in a weirdish place.
Summary Great case for the money, water cooling would probably be pretty tricky. Overall great.
Pros - Esthetics, hard to find a better looking case (in my opinion) at this price range - Excellent design and layout, mostly tool-less - Room for very large heatsinks (a Noctua NH-D15 with both fans fits without issue, at least with my motherboard) - Quite a bit of room for cable management - Dust filters at every intake
Cons - Limited airflow (two fans in the front, one at the back) - Feels a bit "cheap" (thin metal, non-reusable pci covers, some sharp-ish edges) - Almost zero possibilities for watercooling (custom or even CLC)
Summary Overall, the layout is excellent, even if it can feel a bit cramped with a full ATX motherboard and tower cooler. I love the vertical USB ports, tool-less hard drive, front fans and optical bay mounts, and the fact that it can fit large 140mm heatsinks without issue (which is rare in mid-tower cases). There is a lot of space behind the motherboard tray to route cables, in part thanks to its bulging side panels.
The only real flaw of this case is the limited cooling options available. Even if large heatsinks should fit without issue, there is almost no room for watercooling. A single 120mm rad might be installed as the rear exhaust, but that's it. There is also limited airflow, with "only" 3 120mm fan mounts. Moreover, none of the front intake positions are clear from obstruction, both fans have to suck the air in through the sides of the front panel.
I purchased this case at a very good price (60$, open box). At this price, I would have given it 5 stars, but the regular price is a tad higher. Still worth it at this price, but there are quite a few other models of comparable quality in this price range.
Pros Lots of space internally, clean cable management, nice colour
Cons Slots on back are non-reusable. Sharp edges on metal panels.
Summary It's a great value for the money but I wish that the slots on the rear were screwed on rather than non-reusable metal tabs that you had to break off in order to use. Makes it frustrating when trying to gauge where card slots will go.
Pros - decent cable management (through back of main board panel) - light weight - window with red illuminated fan (looks decent) - bottom ventilation for power supply
Cons - some of the metal felt a touch thin
Summary For the money, a very good case. everything fit nicely and neatly inside the case and was able to run the cables cleanly. Cooling fans in the front and rear of the case, with the addition of a couple more were a bonus, as was the floor side ventilation.
Pros good layout, nice red-black color, filtered fans, almost tool free
Cons paint tends to come off or rub off with minimal effort
Summary Ample space for cable management. Included fans are ok but not the best. There is no built-in fan controller and even though the fans are filtered, it takes a little bit of effort to access the front fans. The top mounted optical bay takes a little getting used to. I don't mind it being offset a bit, but it always looks like there is a missing bit of plastic from the front. Plastic front but looks like brush aluminum. My only gripe is the side panels. In another review from the web (kitguru), they noted that the paint and texture seems to rub off fairly easily. Despite this, I decided to get the case for a friend. True enough, laying the side panel flat on a table top (just the panel, not the entire case) was enough to rub off paint at certain raised areas. Nothing really bad (and nothing a little black nail polish couldn't fix) but still bothersome.
Paint aside, the overall case is still excellent. It's not up there with the high end cases - probably more at home with the budget to mid-range cases. Special sale price or PM would make it a good option for a case but the orig price of $75 seems a bit too much.
Drive cages accommodate both 3.5 and 2.5 drives. Top mounted ports usb 2 ports and only 1 usb 3 seems like a waste. Drive activity led is pleasantly not blue (which would greatly contrast the red plastic) but the side mounted power switch lights up blue. No reset button. There are plenty of tiedown locations and lots of holes for cable routing but none of them a have grommets. Most internal cable wires from the front panel are beige/white - it would a nice to have them black as well.
