I originally assembled my gaming rig with only one of these babies. Within a week I put in another for SLI because I wasn't satisfied with the performance. I suspect now it was poorly optimized nVidia drivers (card was released only a few months, so the drivers haven't had time to mature yet). Anyways, with two, this thing still isn't perfect. The ideal solution is to sell these cards and pick up a GTX 280.

Very good card for the price which can beat out much of what else is offered. 2 of these cards in SLI outperform a GTX280 for cheaper. Solid build quality and no flaws found as of yet (other than the HDMI not being a direct connection). Also EVGA provides an overclocking and monitoring tool right off their website which works very well.

I heard that teh 4950 was the card to get, but I heard that there was heating problems with it, and that the drivers were not as good. SO I went with this card.

I bought this card for my wife because she had a new 22 inches LCD display, but i forgot to measure her case... It's really a tight fit (Apevia Qpack2) but it worked after many many many minutes of tweaking and it seems to do the job. I have no fear of overheating since her case is heavily modified and it have a lot of fans (added 3 more than the original).

Over a period of 2 weeks I have had this card, it was available at $179.99 yesterday at a particular store. For that price with no MIR it is a very solid competitor to ATI 4850 series. Lets be honest the CCC is bloatware and has issues

Overall I'm impressed, runs everything I throw at it without a hitch, 3dmark vantage had an average fps of 35 through most sections at stock gpu clock speeds in sli, great for the average gamer who wants a significant boost in performance.

Mine is the 9800 GTX with gpu clocked at 675 Mhz. Big at 266 mm length, needs 450W PSU to run it, 2 ext. power supplies. Runs in PCI-e x16 standard slot. TF2 & Crysis run v.good at 60-70 FPS with full settings. 16280 3D marks05 with Athlon 64 X2 6000+, XP pro, 2x1Gig DDR2 800, Nforce 570 Ultra, 1024 x 768 res.
