Just installed this soundcard to replace my Inferno that died just after the warranty (yeah i'm lucky!!). Sound really better then my dead friend, really clear sound and good bass, I really see a great difference with my headset playing Farcry 2.

ok well.... i am a gamer... i had a old Creative Sb audigy card, i went from 32bit vista, i had probs with drivers as was to vista 64bit, the dam drivers were horrible, so i buy this card, this card for vista is loaded with features, its basically built for vista, i know sound cards for xp and you take em to vista, you got nothin but problems with them, well with this 1, garanteed not to :), i am garanteed to not have to replace this sound card at all, great buy!!, also great for gaming

The quality of this Auzentech card has blown me away. The drivers installed in seconds and where rock solid in Vista, something really only achieved by onboard sound thus far. The number of outputs is also fantastic when compared to a card like the X-Fi Xtreme Audio. Its nice to see a high end product with a CMedia chipset as for years they've only been found on your $15-25 audio cards. Buy with confidence as this is the perfect card for your home theatre enthusiast. The days of Creative's dominance are coming to an end. great work Auzentech! Now if only I find an X-Meridian 7.1 for my personal desktop.

Great sound card for the price. Good for listenning to a DVD or some music. Maybe not the best for gaming purpose, but for everything else, sound good!

I can't say enough good things about this sound card. For one the drivers are exceptionally easy to use. Head and shoulders above my old Audigy card.

I bought this to replace an X-Meridian which was way more than I needed (Sold the X-Meridian on Ebay for more than I paid for it!). I use the analog outputs and the card offers far superior sound quality than motherboard sound. The user has the option to experiment with other op-amps if desired. But I wouldn't call this or any internal PC sound card "high-end" despite the reputation of Auzentech or the opamp upgradeability feature. Every opamp has coloured sound and every sound card has limitations imposed by cost and design constraints. If you're an 'audiophile' don't be fooled by the sound card hype. Your best bet is using your motherboard coax or USB output with an outboard D/A converter. The included LM4562s have lots of punch but no life and serious mid-range suckout.

Waited a week or so for the "Cinema" to hit the shelves at NCIX. I tossed my Supreme FXII soundcard from my Asus Maximus Formula mb into the trash. Done with that pos(probably software related) but spent way too many hours trying to tweak the fixes. I desperately needed a great sounding soundboard with digitial out & boy-oh-boy, did I find one, here. Crisp audio on all formats. Crappy quality mp3's, flac's, DTS audio sound fantastic. A very noticable difference & improvement over the previous Soundmax.
