i thought i would be basking in the quality of digital tv but alas i think the $40 sale price lured me in. I don't think this is the best way to view even over the air signals as the software bundle leaves anything to be desired. For $40 i can't go wrong so i'll give it satisfatory marks. Im glad its a usb device cause the unit creates a fair amount of heat that i wouldn't want in my computer. really was leaning towrards the pci device but glad i chose the usb version.

It does what its supposed to do. I mainly bought it for copying 8mm to digital. Altho it may not have win7 drivers, vista drivers in my opinion are pretty much the same thing.. The software that comes with it is relatively easy to setup and use. For the average user, this will do the trick.

I can't compare to other tv tuner cards as this is my first one. It certainly has met my expectations. Although ATI has not released the Windows 7 driver it has worked fine with most recent driver using both the ATI Media Centre and the Windows 7 Media Centre.

Even though the catalyst software is not win7 x64 compatible yet, the vista 64 bit drivers work to get it recognized and workable with windows media center (which actually seems to run smoother than the ati catalyst program from what I remember of it from my last tuner), and is a better alternative than my initial solution of running it within an XP virtual box (choppy picture resulted). Overall it's a nice pickup for the sale price.

This ATI TV Wonder 650 HD USB, or let me just call it a Theater 650 Pro USB tuner (Actual chip being used is a Theater 650 Pro.) The quality of the analog tuner is somewhat worse than other cards I have previously owned, but not as bad as some other analog capture cards out there.

I have owned this for a month, and there are a lot of functions I haven't tried (recording, avivo, time-shifting). I have tried tuning fm radio, cable, and antenna hdtv signals, all with excellent quality. I also played Wii over the composite input, but had to use dScaler since the included catalyst media center software lagged too much.
